5th Grade Juniors Girl Scout Troop #2122 makes “Comfort Blankets” for local children

Our 5th Grade Juniors Girl Scout Troop #2122 has been working very diligently making no-sew blankets out of fleece to serve as “Comfort Blankets” for children  who are found by local first responders in traumatizing situations such as motor vehicle accidents, burnt down homes, and pediatrics en-route via ambulance to CHOP (Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia).  The demand for more blankets is high, especially during these very cold and frigid winter months. We are reaching out to our community for help in asking for donations of ANY types of blankets (new & gently used) towards this great cause.

A “Drop-box” will be placed in our school lobby where the blankets can be placed for pick-up throughout the months of February & March.
