We are excited to present The Stock Market Club again this year. Students will be introduced to the basics of investing,
participate in a virtual Stock Market Game and have the opportunity to hear guest speakers from various disciplines in
the field of finance.
Central to the club, the Stock Market Game gives students the opportunity to invest in virtual funds to buy, sell, and
trade stocks. Students are placed in groups and given $100,000.00 in their online portfolio. Each team must work
together to decide on purchases and trades of their stocks.
We encourage each team to check on their stocks on a daily basis. They can go to MSN or Yahoo Finance for daily stock
information.
