Library Volunteer Sign-Up

Hello St. Andrew’s Parents!  

Thank you to all of you who helped in the St. Andrew’s Library last year!  Your time and assistance was much needed and greatly appreciated!

I hoping to gather another wonderful group of parent volunteers with clearances, who would be available to help me during the school day with library tasks and maintenance (book check-in/check-out during classes, shelving of books, straightening shelves, etc.), and clerical tasks (new book processing, book repair/relabeling, etc.).  I especially need parent volunteers during the K-5 library classes, in particular during book checkout weeks.  Book checkouts during library classes are usually every 2 weeks and will be starting the week of Sept 16th (next Monday), however, any time you can come in during the school day would be helpful.  A schedule of book checkout weeks will be posted in RenWeb, but will be subject to change depending on the month.  

No prior library experience necessary, as I will train you on what needs to be done.  Please note, however, I cannot accommodate parents who have younger infant or toddler children/siblings during library classes and the school day.  Thank you for your understanding. 
Attached is my class schedule, so you know when your child’s homeroom has library class.  If you are able to volunteer, please email me directly kwikoff@standrewcec.com with the dates and hours you are available and your contact information. I will then create a Sign-Up Genius for each homeroom, or send out a schedule in a spreadsheet to all the volunteers.  If your child’s homeroom has already created a sign-up for Library Volunteers, please pass along that information. Thank you all very much in advance for your help and your time!  I truly appreciate it!
