Friday News March 26, 2021

Dear St. Andrew Parents,

I hope you had a great week and were able to enjoy the beautiful spring weather.

If you have not done so, please complete the re-registration payment via the email that was sent from Parish Giving on Monday, March 22. If you have not received this, please check your spam or junk email. If the email is not there, please let Colleen Carroll know. She can be reached at ccarroll@standrewcec.com. If for some reason your child is not returning, please let her know, so we can remove the fee and plan accordingly. We are planning to add a third 1st grade class as long as the numbers still allow. We are capping 1st-8th grade classes right now at 24 students a class, so spaces will be limited.  In the next two weeks, we will be working through the re-registrations and accepting new families off of our wait list(s). We will follow our order of admission and start with preschool and work our way up.

In just our second year of competing in the Future City competition, our team won two awards and showed great growth. Special congratulations to our 7th and 8th grade students and Mrs. Boedewig who competed. Someday we hope to be in the regional finals. Another AOP Catholic School, St. Hilary, has reached the regional finals of the competition. If you can take a minute to vote for them, please do so here.

Thank you to those who have been asking about our staff and vaccines. At this point, all of our staff has had the opportunity to be vaccinated. If you are looking for vaccination information for you or your family, I know that you can register through the County using this link. Also, Rite Aid and CVS are distributing the vaccine as well, and information can be found on their websites.

Please check out this video from Monsignor Introducing Holy Week. Due to Holy Week and the coinciding school holidays, we will not have a Friday News next week.

Last but not least Yearbook purchases end on 4/1 so if you want to order one please find the information below.

Thanks again for all of your support, and have a great weekend and a Happy Easter!
