Friday News October 22, 2021

Dear St. Andrew Parents,

I hope you had a great week! Last week, Mrs. Wagner and I were able to attend our Annual Archdiocese Catholic School Principals’ Conference. While there, we listened, discussed, and searched for ways to continue to improve our school. Along the way, we were able to celebrate a little too.  Saint Andrew was recognized as a 2021 Archdiocesan School of Distinction. This is the second time we have earned this recognition in as many opportunities. We received this award because 90% of the students met or exceeded expectations in all content areas on all levels in Terra Nova Testing.

We also received a generous $25,000 grant from the Connelly Foundation for being named a 2021 Blue Ribbon School of Excellence. We are still in discussions on how the grant will be used, but we will be sure it is used to support our teachers and students as they are the reason that we were recognized as a Blue Ribbon School.

Have a great weekend! We hope to see you tomorrow at Trunk or Treat!
