Friday News February 18, 2022

Dear St. Andrew Parents,

I hope you had a great week!

Congratulations to our Boys CYO Varsity Region Basketball Team who won the Region 19 Championship, and they are now participating in the Archdiocesan Tournament and an opportunity to advance to State. They continue their playoffs this weekend. If you are looking for a fun family-filled event at a low cost, please consider going to cheer them on in the Elite Eight round which will take place this Saturday, February 19 vs Sts. Simon and Jude at 1:30pm at Archbishop Wood. If they win that game, they will make the Final 4 and play Sunday, February 20 at 4:45 pm at Archbishop Wood. We will post an update on social media for you all to follow. Don’t forget to wear Blue and White!

Congratulations to our JV and Varsity girls region teams who placed 2nd in Region 19 and also had great seasons!

On March 4 and March 7-10, students in grades 2-7 will be taking the Terra Nova Testing. All students will be permitted to wear winter gym uniforms on testing days. Students who will be taking the Terra Nova must have #2 pencils. It is important for students to get a good night’s sleep and to eat a healthy breakfast.

Saint A tip of the week

  • If your child is absent, we do need written notice to document and excuse the absence. You may send in a note with your child when they are out or you may email attendance@standrewcec.com with the dates and reason the student is absent. Our front office will reach out to confirm an absence if communication is not received regarding the absence.

Thanks, and have a great three day weekend!
