Dear St. Andrew Parents,

Hope you had a great week!

This upcoming week our school play returns after a two year absence. We are super proud of our 8th graders for all of their hard work and for stepping out of their comfort zones to make this work. They will perform shows for students in grades K-8 and their parents. Due to the size of the Marian Room and difficulty moving play productions, tickets are not available for our other families or the general public. Please keep them in your prayers as they prepare to perform Bye Bye Birdie.

Saint A tip of the week:

  • Gospel Message of the Week – The goal of the Gospel Message of the Week is for our families to discuss the Gospel and Homily from Church after Mass, sometime on Sunday. Then for our students to have a quality discussion about the Gospel and Homily from Mass in religion class on Monday. The emphasis is on the discussion and how we can be better people in following Jesus’ message. Beginning this trimester, the Gospel Message of the Week will no longer be recorded as a grade because we do not want it to be a rushed writing assignment at breakfast on Monday. Anything you can do to foster these conversations in your house will be appreciated and lead to even greater discussion and understanding in the classroom. If you were unable to attend Mass, please read the Gospel and discuss what it means and how it can impact us today.

Have a great weekend!
