Friday News April 22, 2022

Dear St. Andrew Parents,

I hope you all had a wonderful Easter break and a great week! Thank you to all of our families and students that donated food and money to support Ukraine. Our last dress down day received a little more than $1,200 dollars to donate.

Some of you may have heard that one of our teachers was recently named an All-Star Teacher by the Philadelphia Phillies. Each year the Phillies select 10 All-Star Teachers to recognize on teacher appreciation night. Congratulations to Miss Peggy Whelan in our Preschool 3 “Blue” Room who was chosen and will be recognized Friday, May 6 when the Phillies take on the Mets. To learn a little more, you can check out this video that Dan Tarrant helped to create to capture the moment Miss Peggy and her students found out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NiR18d5VeNU

We are incredibly proud of Miss Peggy and all of our teachers who go above and beyond for their students and families! We also are blessed to be part of an incredible community where families take the time to say thank you and to put into words what their teachers mean to them. Thank you to all of you that help make Saint Andrew a great place to work!
