Dear St. Andrew Parents,
I hope you had a great week! Thank you to everyone for making the May Procession possible and so beautiful. It is hard to believe that this is my fourth spring at Saint Andrew and my first May Procession in which we were able to participate. As you read this, we are probably returning from our 8th-grade field trip. We are so proud of our 8th graders and look forward to finishing up the year with our traditional 8th-grade activities.
We would like to congratulate and welcome our new Home and School Executive Board:
- President – Christine Banas
- Vice President – Lisa Warnke
- Treasurer – Melissa Myers (returning for year 2)
- Secretary – Stephanie Harbison (returning for year 2)
Special thanks to our outgoing Home and School President, Erica Heine, and our Vice President Kristen Sabo. We could not have asked for a better executive board, and there are not enough words to really express what our board especially Mrs. Heine has done for our students and staff. Thank you, Mrs. Heine! If you have any interest in helping Home and School, we have some committees that could use your help. Please find more information listed below.
If you have not cleaned out the closet for uniforms in a while, please consider dropping off your winter uniforms in the next week. This will allow our team to get a head start on organizing for next year. To help with clearing out uniforms, students in grades 1-8 can wear their gym uniforms from Monday, June 6-Wednesday, June 8. We will then have a blue and white dress down on the last day of school, Thursday, June 9. The goal is to allow families to turn in summer uniforms they will no longer need early in the week and gym uniforms on the last day.
I hope everyone attending the Father-Daughter dance tomorrow has a great time! Whether you have a daughter or not, if you have your clearances the Dance Committee could use your help to make this event special for all the Dads and their girls. Please consider giving up 2-4 hours of your Saturday if you can. You can sign up by clicking here.
