Dear St. Andrew Parents,

Hope you had a great week! We had a beautiful talent show on Tuesday to start the short week! A beautiful Mass and Kindergarten performance today, and our Preschool and Kindergarten students finished today. We will miss them and hope you all have a great summer!

Staff Changes:

We are sad to see Ms. Anastasia Geonnotti, Ms. Nicolette Geonnotti, and Ms. Morgan Pambianco move on from Saint Andrew; however, we wish them the best moving forward and thank them for their dedication to Saint Andrew and each and every one of their students. We are excited to welcome one of our former student teachers, Mrs. Tara Carbino, to our 2nd-grade team and Ms. Jenna Strain, from Saint George in Philadelphia, to our 4th-grade team. Ms. Emily Crozier will be moving from our 4th-grade team to our 3rd-grade team. We also are excited to announce the hire of our new vice-principal, Dr. Alexis Bonavitacola. She will be taking the place of the position created with the retirement of Mrs. Matteo. Dr. Bonavitacola comes to us with experience as a Principal, Assistant Principal, and Instructional Coach and has worked in both Catholic and public schools. She will join our team full time in August.

Tip of the Week: Dismissal and Uniforms next week

  • Dismissal will continue the same as normal. If you have been picking up your children in the back lane, please continue to do so even if your kindergartener or preschooler is at home. The line will start around 2:50 instead of the earlier time.
  • Please remember next Monday-Wednesday students may wear gym uniforms and on Thursday they may dress in school-appropriate street clothes. The goal is that families will drop off uniform donation items throughout the week to help Home and School organize for the summer uniform SWAP event on AUGUST 11 from 3 to 6 pm.
