Summer News Edition 1 – 6/17/22

Dear St. Andrew Parents,

Hope you are having a great start to your summer! We will probably send an email update 1-2 times a month leading up to the school year. Mrs. Wagner and I work most of the summer. While our hours are a little less, we are here to answer your questions. If you need something, please do not hesitate to email us.

School Information

  • Summer work/assignments can be found on our website with the link below. Other than the work below we encourage your children to read! Read on a plane, in the car, 15 minutes a day or night. For our younger kids, read to them or read with them. As students get older, consider fostering a book club with your child(ren) or family. Essentially both parent(s) and child(ren) own a copy of a book that the child/student chooses, and you approve and talk about the book with each other and ask your children questions to dig a little deeper into the novel. Consider inviting a grandparent, dad, cousins, and friends. This is a great way to foster reading and make it fun.

Repeat School Information

  • Last Week to order Supply Kits for next year.

    • Great News! This year, we will be offering the teacher tailored supply kit program again! This kit offers pre-packaged, school supply boxes filled with the exact items requested by your child’s teacher. Why fight the hassle of retail when there’s a cost effective and convenient way of purchasing your back to school supplies.

  • Family Ambassadors

    • We are in need of families who would like to become an Ambassador to our new families coming to St. Andrew this Fall.  You will be sent a list of new families, and we would love for you to communicate with them throughout the summer to answer any questions they may have and maybe even meet for ice cream.  We have a new family welcome night on September 1 that we would love our Ambassador families to attend to help with touring our school.  These new families are so thankful for this program.  Please email Erica Heine at eheine@standrewcec.com if interested.

    • Flynn and O’Hara Flyer

      • Our school code is PA563 if needed.
