Bucks County Science Research Competition
Moderator: Tracy Boedewig
Each year, Delaware Valley University hosts the Bucks County Science Research Competition bringing together students from schools all across Bucks County: public, private, and parochial. Students entering the competition spend months preparing and implementing their experiments. These experiments cover all sorts of science fields, including chemistry, engineering, physics, ecology, and many more. Students display their work and are interviewed by judges. These judges are most often employees from local science and engineering companies as well as retired science teachers. Saint Andrew has been very proud to sponsor many prize winners over the last years – Saint Andrew students have held the top spot for group entries the last two years! First and second place winners move on to the Delaware Valley Science Fair which includes schools from New Jersey and Delaware. Any sixth, seventh, or eighth grade student is welcome to compete!
