The purpose of the Home and School Association is to provide social events and fundraising activities for the school.
The Home and School Association holds elections for the executive positions of President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. The term for each position is two years. Persons may be re-elected once and serve a maximum of four years in a particular position.
Committee Chairs are appointed positions.
- President – Set the agenda and conduct Home and School meetings. Liaison between administration, church, parents and school. Lead the Home and School Association in strengthening Saint Andrew Catholic School. Oversee and support the social and fundraising committees within the Home and School Association.
- Vice President – Work closely with the president and assume the duties of the president when the president is unable to perform them. Arrange for the presenters at the general meetings.
- Secretary – Keep minutes of the Home and School meetings and record attendance at the meetings. Send meeting notices and conduct correspondence. Maintain annual membership list.
- Treasurer – Keep records of all Home and School funds. Manage expenses, issue checks, balance accounts and report financials.
Nominations will begin in March. Please nominate a person you feel would make a positive difference for Saint Andrew Catholic School.
