The Crusader Dash

Ready, set, go! On a bright sunny day in June, SAS students and teachers walked, ran, skipped, danced and hopped their way around the Fun Run course at Saint Andrew Catholic School. The Crusader Dash was underway! This wonderful event was started by the Saint Andrew Moms Booster Club as a station during our annual Spirit Day.

The idea was to:

  • Host a larger-scale fundraising event
  • Bring the SAS community together behind an important cause—raising funds for our amazing students and teachers
  • Promote health and fitness

AND HAVE FUN!
The proud and smiling faces of the children made the day a huge success and fun for all.

In addition to giving back 25% of all funds raised directly to our teachers, we were able to provide Dyson cool, high-powered fans to our fourth through eighth grade classrooms. Based on teacher surveys, funds raised in subsequent years will go toward teacher training and classroom supplies.

Please join us to cheer on your SAS student on Spirit Day (clearance permitting).

GO CRUSADERS!
