STUDENT COUNCIL AT SAINT ANDREW CATHOLIC SCHOOL
Student Council is open to students in fourth through eighth grade. Students must have a 3 or above in Effort and Study Skills and Personal and Social Growth. Each fall students are elected by their peers to hold a leadership position on the Student Council. At meetings, students discuss ways to enrich school activities and address needs in the school and in the community. The Student Council representatives help around school (recycle, help teachers, etc.) and engage in various community service activities (pretzel sales, bingo at D'Youville Manor, clothing/food drives, Daffodil Day for American Cancer Society, etc). The Executive Council in comprised of four eighth graders; all other representatives are assigned as class representatives. Elections are in the fall.
